I have, over the years, had many long-term cars and bikes in my garage, and all of them have had admirable traits. The Creta, however, is at another level — I can’t remember any other vehicle having so many stand-out features. I recently packed most of my worldly belongings into it and drove from Mumbai to Goa, and it handled the drive so well that I barely noticed it. I’ve also driven from Goa to Bengaluru and back, and it gave me 20 kpl the whole way, which is quite astonishing. Everything about this car just works, and it’s comfortable, practical and feature-loaded. I can’t think of a bad thing to say about it yet, so maybe I’ll wait until the next time I have to write about it.
