Isuzu Motors India has launched the BS6-compliant D-Max Regular Cab and D-Max S-Cab in India. The company has also added a new variant called the D-Max Super Strong, which is capable of handling a 1,710-kilogram payload, to its commercial vehicle line-up. Apart from those mentioned before, Isuzu also offers other variants like the D-Max Regular Cab High-Ride with a flat deck, D-Max Regular Cab-Chassis, S-Cab Standard-Ride, S-Cab High-Ride.

Prices for the new BS6-compliant D-Max line-up start at Rs 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and go up to 10.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The new Super Strong variant has a price tag of Rs 8.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It must be noted that these are introductory prices for the BS6 D-Max line-up. All of these variants of the D-Max are powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine which produces 77 bhp and 17.9 kgm of torque.

As far as changes go, the new D-Max line-up comes with refreshed headlamps, new grille, bonnet and bumper designs. On the inside, there’s now a MID (Multi-Information Display) cluster with GSI (Gear Shift Indicator), height-adjustable seat belts, new fabric upholstery and sliding co-driver seat. Isuzu is also offering other introductory offers on the new D-Max commercial line-up in India.
