The Range Rover Velar is one heck of a good looking machine, you will agree (and if you don’t, well, you have our sympathies). It’s the Savile Row of SUVs, and you can now snag one that’s been kitted out with some updated equipment, in the R-Dynamic S trim. Not least of these changes is JLR’s next-generation 2-litre, four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine, with 201 bhp and 43.8 kgm of torque, which should be plenty for pretty much anything you have planned. The 2-litre petrol engine, if that’s what you’re looking for, puts out 246.7 bhp and 37.2 kg.

Also on offer are a range of new features – 3D surround camera, electronic air suspension, cabin air ionisation with a PM2.5 filter, active road noise cancellation and a new Pivi Pro infotainment system. We’ve always thought highly of the Velar (read our review here), and this one seems like a good bet at Rs 79.87 lakh, ex-showroom India. Get on www.findmeasuv.in and book one.
