Kia updated the Seltos recently to keep up with the newly launched Hyundai Creta. With extra features in tow, the updated Seltos now starts at Rs 9.89 lakh, ex-showroom, India. It’s still more or less on par with the Creta now. Now coming to those extra features, there are some connected car features as well as convenience features that make their way into the car and some features trickle down to lower trim levels, too.

There are now more than 50 connected UVO features. For instance, it will respond to you when you use the voice assistant feature by saying ‘Hello Kia.’ There are a lot of cool things that you can do using the voice assistant feature, like ask it to tell you the live score of a cricket match or the holidays in this year’s calendar. A new smart-watch app lets you access UVO too. All automatic variants of the Seltos now come with remote start as standard. All the variants will also sport USB charging ports in the front as well as the rear, which is quite handy.

Other cosmetic changes include a restyled rear bumper, a silver garnish on the inside and two new dual-tone colour options to choose from. Mechanically, the Seltos continues to offer the same spectrum of powertrain options. Due to low demand, Kia has discontinued two variants – the 1.4-litre turbo petrol GTK and GTX 7-speed DCT. It still has 16 other variants for you to choose from though, so you’ll still be able to pick just the right combination that works for you.
