Tata Motors recently updated the Nexon by adding a sunroof and other features in its lower-end variants. Now, it has done the same with the Harrier as well.

Tata has launched the XT+ variant of the Harrier which now features a panoramic sunroof. This panoramic sunroof has a few unique functionalities built-in, too. It automatically closes the sunroof after parking and when it detects rain. For additional safety, the sunroof also has an anti-pinch feature and the rollover glass screen is coated with a dark finish to ensure that it’s not too hot inside the cabin.

Other features on the XT+ variant include automatic projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with 8 speakers and rain sensing wipers among other features.

Mechanically, the Harrier is powered by a 2.0-diesel mill producing 168 bhp and 35.69 kgm of peak torque which can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed auto.

The new Tata Harrier XT+ variant is priced at an introductory price of Rs 16.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, and it sits right in the middle of the nine variants of the Harrier that are currently available. Prices will be increased after 2nd October.
