Jaguar will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the E-type in March 2021, and to mark the occasion have unveiled a limited-edition model – F-type Heritage 60 Edition. Moreover, Jaguar will produce only 60 handmade examples of this special F-type. Also, the Heritage Edition is based on the F-type R and is made by Jaguar’s SV Bespoke division.

Discerning customers will be able to choose between either a coupe or convertible body style. Other notable features include the diamond-turned gloss black, 20-inch forged alloy wheels, gloss black and chrome exterior accents and black brake callipers. Perhaps the most endearing feature the F-type Heritage 60 Edition will have is the Sherwood Green paint job – the original E-type colour, which hasn’t been offered by the brand since the 1960s.

On the inside, the class act continues with dual-tone Caraway and Ebony Windsor leather interior trim. Under the hood rests a 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 which produces 567-bhp and 71.38-kgm of torque. Besides all this, the interiors also come with a special aluminium console finisher inspired by the E-type’s rear-view mirror casing, the E-type 60th anniversary logo embossed on the headrests and E-type 60 badging shared with the limited-edition E-type 60 Collection.

To make the occasion even grander, Jaguar Classic will be creating six limited-edition matched pairs of restored 3.8-litre 1960s E-types. They will pay tribute to two of the most famous variants – ‘9600 HP’ and ‘77 RW’, also known as the E-type 60 Collection.
