Porsche has widened its Cayenne model line portfolio with the inclusion of Platinum Edition versions for the Cayenne S and the Cayenne S Diesel. The SUVs, priced at Rs 1.268 crore and Rs 1.30 crore respectively, are now available to order.
To set these apart from the regular range, four optional colours, apart from the usual black and white, are present: Jet Black, Mahogany, Carrara White, and Rhodium Silver. There are no mechanical changes made, so the Cayenne S (petrol) uses 3.6-litre V6 that makes 414 bhp, while the Cayenne S diesel continues with a 380 bhp-producing V8.
Major upgrades include 21-inch wheels, Bi-Xenon headlamps, front and rear Park Assist, Power Steering Plus (speed-sensitive assistance), PCM infotainment system complete with Bose surround system, auto-dimming mirrors, sports seats from Cayenne GTS, etc.
