The Mercedes-AMG E63 S Final Edition has just been revealed by Mercedes. It will be a fitting sendoff for this generation of the V8 powered car. The new special edition will be limited to just 999 units globally.

The AMG E63 S Final Edition is offered in either sedan or wagon body styles. The Final Edition will also come in just one colour, a Matte Graphite Grey Magno. It also gets 20-inch forged wheels and the AMG ‘Night Package’ as standard. The centre console features an ‘AMG Final Edition’ badge that reads ‘1 of 999’. It also gets the AMG emblem on the C-pillar and the foiling on the side of the car.

On the inside, it gets the most expensive AMG seats as standard. These are draped in Nappa leather with contrast yellow stitching. It also gets illuminated door sill trims that read ‘AMG’ in yellow. Every customer will also receive a customised AMG Indoor Car Cover with ‘AMG E63 S Final Edition’ lettering in matching colours.

Along with the 612 bhp twin-turbo V8, power goes to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic and an AMG-tuned 4Matic system with a drift mode. This being said, the E63 S is capable of going from zero to 100 kph in just 3.4 seconds.

Pricing and other details are not available as of yet but will be justifiably exorbitant. It has come a long way rivalling the BMW M5 since 2016, and this looks like the end of the road for the luxury performance icon from Mercedes.
