Major highlights of the XUV300 include disc brakes on all four wheels, longest wheelbase in the segment, heated ORVMs, steering modes, seven airbags, and a range of powerful engines (1.5-litre diesel and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol). There are three variants to choose from, namely W4, W6, W8. There’s also an optional pack on the top-spec W8.

Talking of choices, the Mahindra XUV300 is available in six colours. Depending on the variant and colour choice, the roof can be specced in white, in line with the market’s increasing demand for dual-tone schemes.

Mahindra Group’s Chairman, Anand Mahindra said, “The XUV brand when launched in 2011 was an infection moment in our automotive journey. Today, as we launch the XUV300, we take the aspirational levels higher. Based on the X100 platform of Ssangyong, the XUV300 is a true-blue global product which combines Korean technology with Indian innovation and finesse. The XUV300 would appeal to all, specially today’s millennial, who would cherish the vehicle’s fun-to-drive nature.”

Managing Director for M&M, Pawan Goenka said, “The XUV300 is our latest offering in the next generation of aspirational Mahindra vehicles, after the Marazzo and the Alturas G4. XUV300 represents a bold new direction for our automotive products, one that offers our customers unmatched quality and a truly refined user experience. The XUV300 is an all-new product that is built on a global platform that will delight customers.”
