Mahindra has introduced a ‘Bronze Green’ paint on the TUV300 as a made-to-order option. No other changes are made to the vehicle, which means you won’t be asked any more money for the specific colour. The model was launched as a part of the Independence Day celebrations in India.

Bronze Green adds to the current range of six (now seven) colours that includes Glacier White, Verve Blue, Majestic Silver, Molten Orange, Bold Black, and Dynamo Red. Engine options remain unchanged: the 100PS/240Nm producing 1.5-litre, three-cylinder unit is present in the top variant while the lesser ones get an 81PS/230Nm version of the same unit. A 5-speed manual gearbox is available as standard while one can also opt for an AMT unit. Prices start at Rs 7.38 lakh onwards going all the way up to a smidgen under Rs 10 lakh for the top-spec T8 AMT variant.

Although the TUV’s looks are polarising, it’s certainly the most rugged-looking compact SUV out there. Although we aren’t yet too sure if the ‘tank-inspired’ styling makes it the most pleasing to the eye…
