The midlife update for the Jaguar XF might have brought a refreshed design, new engines, and improved dynamics, but now with the car being manufactured locally, it gets a price drop, too. The range remains unchanged, with both petrol and diesel powertrains available, but it’s now priced at Rs 47.5 lakh onwards.

Bookings for the car, manufactured at JLR’s facility in Pune, are open online and at all 24 of JLR’s dealerships across the country. Engine choices include a 2-litre diesel that makes 177 bhp and a 2-litre petrol (more on which you can read in the upcoming issue of Motoring World) that makes 237 bhp. Both engines come mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, with power sent to rear wheels only (yay!). The features list is long, but available in three trim levels, namely Pure, Prestige, and Portfolio, there’s something for everyone.

Top-spec car gets 18-inch wheels, 14-way adjustable electric luxury seats (with memory), Park Assist, an HD virtual instrument cluster, an 825-watt surround system by Meridian, etc.
