Jaguar has launched a new range-topping variant of its latest model, the XE sedan, called the ‘Prestige’ variant, as part of the 2017 model year update. It will sit above the ‘Portfolio’ variant, the erstwhile range topper and is priced at Rs 43.69 lakh without octroi, ex-showroom, Mumbai.

The Prestige will be powered by the same 197 bhp 2.0-litre four cylinder petrol engine mated to the nine-speed automatic gearbox driving the rear wheels, but it gets a feature update. It gets a sunroof, ‘Taurus’ leather seats, seat memory for the driver’s seat, interior mood lighting, a rear view camera, and our favourite Jaguar feature: a 380W Meridian audio system.

The 2017 XE range is open for bookings immediately.
