Earlier scheduled to be launched this month, the all new Tucson will finally be entering the Indian market in November. Save November 14 on your calendars if you’re interested in the sub-Santa Fe crossover SUV. And we see no reasons why you shouldn’t be, either.

Apart from the good looks, the Tucson — a familiar name for us Indians, but this one is a whole lot different from the original Tucson that graced the market for a short time — will be available in both petrol and diesel engines, and will essentially sit in the gap between the Creta and the Santa Fe.

Like other new Hyundais, the Tucson will be loaded with features, including a five-star Euro NCAP rating. It remains unknown if Hyundai will offer all-wheel drive on this one, but if that’s the case, expect only the top-spec versions to be grippier.
