The Toyota Camry Hybrid is one of our favourite cars on sale here and it is our reigning Premium Sedan Of The Year, too. The current generation priced at Rs 39 lakh, ex-showroom, and we think it punches above its weight class. Globally, Toyota has unveiled a facelifted version of it though. Let’s see what new updates it has over the current car.

Up front, the Camry gets redesigned bumpers, and at the rear, only the LED tail lights are redesigned, everything else remains more or less the same. It now sits on 17-inch alloys with optional 18-inchers as well. Inside, there’s a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with updated software for quicker response. On the tech side of things, the Camry is now equipped with features like lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control and road sign assist among others.

Powering it is a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor that sends power to its front wheels via a CVT. The total power output translates to 215 bhp, which is still the same as the current generation. Click here to read our review on the current generation Camry Hybrid.
