It has been announced that deliveries of the all-new Honda Amaze will begin soon after the sub-four-metre car is launched on May 16. And the company has begun production of the car at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. The second-generation car had its world premiere at the Auto Expo in February this year.

The company also promises to offer a special introductory price to the initial 20,000 bookings. And those who’ve made a decision to purchase an Amaze are quite smart, too, considering it introduces a segment-first CVT-equipped diesel version. You can read more about that and how the car is to drive in our First Drive review by clicking here.

Honda Cars India’s Senior VP and Director, Rajesh Goel said, “We are delighted to announce the beginning of production of all – new Honda Amaze. This model will be a game changer for Honda Cars India – both in terms of boosting our business and further strengthening our model-lineup with advanced technology. The 2nd Generation Amaze has received excellent response from customers since its world premiere at the Auto Expo. As a special gesture to the customers who are booking the car even before knowing the price and variant details, we have decided to offer a special introductory price for the initial 20,000 bookings.”
