Honda Cars India Limited has, in its latest sales press release, announced that the all-new Amaze’s best-ever performance. The company, whose sales grew by 41 per cent in May 2018, says that the new Honda Amaze clocked monthly sales of 9,789 units. This isn’t only the best the Amaze brand has done, but also the highest ever for a Honda product in India.

In total the company sold 15,864 units, which in comparison to the figure from May 2017 (11,278 units) is a growth of 41 per cent. In addition a total of 516 exports were also made. To recapitulate, the all-new Honda Amaze was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo alongside the new Honda CR-V and the upcoming Honda Civic.

With the new Honda Amaze, the company has introduced for the first time in the segment, features like paddle shifters (petrol CVT) and the option of speccing a CVT gearbox on a diesel engine.
