In a pool full of compact SUVs, Honda’s dived in with the updated Amaze. It features a new solid wing face front grille with a bit of fine chrome moulding lines, new LED projector headlamps with DRLs, new C-shaped LED rear combination lights and a set of new 15-inch alloy wheels. Mechanically, the Amaze remains unchanged, however. Also, Honda’s offering a new Meteoroid Grey Metallic exterior paint. It does look neat in its updated avatar, doesn’t it?

Under the hood, it features the same powertrain options as before. The 1.5-litre diesel engine paired to a manual gearbox produces 99 bhp and 20.3 kgm of torque. And if you choose the CVT, then the engine output comes down to 79 bhp and 16.3 kgm of torque. As for the 1.2-litre petrol engine, it makes 89 bhp and 16.31 kgm of torque and can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT option.

Inside, there’s a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, weblink and a host of advanced functionality like voice command, messages, Bluetooth for handsfree telephone and audio streaming support and wireless infrared remote. The rear view camera now shows multiple angles on the centre screen which should help in parking.

On the safety front, it features dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, new automatic headlights, rear parking sensor, among many other things. The prices for the new Amaze facelift begins from Rs 7.16 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Check out the prices below for all its variants.
