BMW has finally added a petrol variant to its entry-level sedan – 2 Series Gran Coupé. The other two variants are priced at Rs 40.40 lakh and 42.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India), respectively. Moreover, the 220i is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor which churns out 187-bhp and 28.55-kgm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Furthermore, BMW claims a 0-100 km/hr time of just 7.1 seconds, which is slightly better than the diesel counterpart at 7.5 seconds. Other than that, the 2-Series gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, M-Sport badges all around, larger 18-inch alloy wheels, M-Sport steering wheel, aluminium pedals and a whole lot more.
