The 43rd edition of the 2021 Dakar Rally, which will be held in the deserts of Saudi Arabia, is inching closer. And team Bahrain Raid Xtream (BRX) already has the trusted support of Land Rover’s latest SUV, the Defender, at hand. The Defender 110 will be BRX’s support vehicle for the 7,646-km long event spanning across 14 days of desert driving. It will act as an essential support to BRX’s two drivers — Sébastien Loeb (Nine times World Rally Champion) and Nani Roma (Two times Dakar Rally winner).

These Defender 100s will be equipped with the Explorer Pack that gets an exclusive roof rack, raised air intake, wheel arch protection and exterior side-mounted gear carrier. And to access its roof, there will also be a deployable roof ladder. The P400 Defender comes fitted with a 394-bhp straight-six Ingenium petrol engine along with a mild-hybrid electric tech. Be it on the go or camping, the Defender will provide its crew with all the essential support right from the necessary service kit to sleeping quarters inside it. Even we had our fair share of fun with the Defender 110, you can read about it here.
