More from Motoring

The launch of the next-generation Audi Q7 is around the corner, and you can book one by paying a sum of Rs 5 lakh as the booking amount. Powering the Q7 is a new 335-bhp 3.0-litre V6 TFSI petrol engine. Yes, you read that right; there won’t be a diesel engine option. But, there’s plenty to look forward to in the Q7 as it comes with a ton of features.

For instance, on the inside, you’ll now see a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display along with an 8.6-inch screen specifically for climate control. Then you have Audi’s Virtual Cockpit for the digital instrument cluster, Bang & Olufsen Premium 3D Sound System, 30-colour ambient lighting, air ionizer and aromatisation, park assist along with the 360-degree camera, among other things.

In its previous generation, the Q7 was available with a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine and a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. As mentioned earlier, there is a more powerful V6 petrol engine that replaces these engine options. This 335-bhp V6 has 50.98 kgm of torque and is paired to an 8-speed torque converter auto ‘box, and comes with quattro all-wheel drive, of course. We’ll soon tell you more about the Q7 in our detailed review, so stay tuned!
