More from Motoring

Nissan India has opened the order books for the 2017 GT-R (R35). Showcased at the New York Motor Show earlier this year, the car is all set to be launched before the end of 2016.

The all-wheel drive supercar needs to introduction, and has been on the supercar buyer’s radar since the first iteration came in 2007. Needless to mention there’s also a huge army of fans that will make you believe that it’s indeed the best thing that happened to mankind after the invention of the wheel.

But they aren’t wrong, either. The 3.8-litre engined vehicle can hit 100 km/h in an eyeball-popping 3 seconds.Well, actually even quicker. That, in conjunction with the all-wheel drive traction via a six-speed automatic dual clutch transmission, is because of the 570PS and 637Nm of maximum torque that the engine makes.

Those interested in obliterating other pricey cars on the racetrack can either go old-school and contact Nissan on 1-800-209-3456 or go equally high-tech by logging into Nissan.in. Not just that you can also email Nissan customercare.nissan@email.nissan.in. All that against a payment of Rs 2.5 lakh.

For the colour-conscious, the car will be available in seven shades, namely Katsura Orange, Vibrant Red, Pearl Black, Storm White, Daytona Blue, Gun Metallic and Ultimate Silver.
