This isn’t the Hyundai Tucson, folks. It’s the all-new Hyundai Creta that’s literally gone under the knife because it wanted a face like the new Tucson. Apart from the chrome trim that underlines the grille, it borrows features like the grille, LED DRLs, headlights and fog lights directly from the Tucson. Quite a neat job, that. At the rear, the tail lights are also redesigned. Just when we thought the Creta’s design was growing on us, the facelifted Creta is unveiled. But we know that we’ll be prepared before this one makes it to our shores.

Inside, it’s a familiar cabin, however, the only noticeable addition is the 10.25-inch digital instrument display that’s only available on the Alcazar in India. Then, you get six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors with a camera, and electronic stability control to ensure the safety of the passengers.

Moreover, it comes with Autonomous driver assistance systems (ADAS) which include forward, rear, and blindspot collision avoidance assist. The powertrain options in the Indonesian market is only limited to a 113-bhp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT. Let’s see what else Hyundai adds to the new Creta’s feature list when it’s launched here.
