TVS Racing, TVS Motor Company’s factory racing team, is inviting young racers to compete in the 2022 edition of the TVS One-Make Championship for Women and Rookies. On the 27th of March, the selection rounds will take place in Mumbai. A full-day training school will be held by national champions of TVS Racing to guarantee that riders are comfortable with the race machines.

Riders seeking to compete in the women’s division will do so on a race-spec TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, while rookies will do so on a TVS Apache RR 200. The Rookie Category, which is open to young riders aged 11 to 18 years, is an essential venue for nurturing new motorsport potential in India. Each city’s top 20 riders will be chosen based on their best lap times, physical fitness and racing talents. In May 2022, the final round of selection will take place in Chennai at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT). The Ajmera IndiKarting will host the Mumbai selection round. Interested candidates should call +919632253833 to register.

The selected racers will fight for the championship in five rounds on race-tuned TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and TVS Apache RR 200 motorcycles. Following the final selection round in Chennai, the racers will receive specialised training from national champion riders from TVS Racing in order to improve their physical fitness and racing skills in preparation for the 2022 Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC). What a platform for aspiring young racers in India.
