Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has revealed its international racing squad for the 2022 season, which will resume after a two-year hiatus due to forced inactivity.

Two great riders will lead IDEMITSU Honda Racing India in the Asia Production 250cc class of the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), with the goal of finishing in the top ten. Rajiv Sethu, an experienced rider, continues to lead the IDEMITSU Honda Racing India squad. Rajiv has demonstrated amazing consistency since his arrival at ARRC in 2017, and he has his sights set on breaking new personal records once again, having risen from 46th place in his first year to 27th in 2018 and finishing the 2019 season in 17th place with two Top-10 and nine Top 15 finishes.

Senthil Kumar, a 20-year-old rider, will join Rajiv in the IDEMITSU Honda Racing India pit. Senthil began his ARRC journey in 2019 and placed 30th in the AP250 class of championship in his first season. He had good results at the Thailand Talent Cup in 2018. (his first time at international racing).

Kavin Quintal, 16, of Chennai (Tamil Nadu), the 2021 champion of Honda India Talent Cup and the only Indian rider in Asia Talent Cup 2022, is the new rider for the 2022 season of Thailand Talent Cup. Sarthak Chavan, a 15-year-old rider from Pune, Maharashtra, who won the Honda India Talent Cup in 2020, will be joining him. Both riders are familiar with the Moto3-spec NSF250R and are confident in their ability to compete against the best in Asia. Here’s wishing all the riders the best of luck!
