The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is one of our favourite bikes in its segment, and TVS has made it a whole lot better with a new update. The Apache RTR 200 4V now gets quite a few first-in-class features like riding modes, adjustable levers and adjustable front suspension. You can change modes with a flick of a switch on the handlebar. If you’re riding in city traffic, the Urban mode will keep the ABS optimized, whereas in Rain mode the ABS will kick in early for more control in wet conditions, and in the Sport mode, the ABS intervention will be the least. Talking about ABS, the Apache RTR 200 4V gets dual-channel ABS with rear wheel lift–off protection.

The Apache RTR 200 4V is just at home on a track as it is in the city. With its Glide Through Technology (GTT) feature, which releases the clutch slowly without any throttle input, riding through traffic is going to be a lot easier.

Powering the Apache RTR 200 4V is a 198cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled fuel-injected engine producing a maximum of 21 bhp@9000 rpm and 1.75 kgm of torque@7250 rpm in Sport mode. It is paired to a 6-speed ‘box along with slipper clutch and assist. Up front, it gets an all-new Showa suspension with preload adjustment, and at the rear, it gets first-in-class adjustable suspension by Showa as well. You can adjust the brake and clutch levers, too. TVS is definitely taking inspiration from its race spec bikes.

On the cosmetic front, the Apache RTR 200 4V gets a new sporty Matte Blue colour, again, inspired by its race bikes. It’s also available in Gloss Black and Pearl White colours. Other features like the race telemetry, turn-by-turn navigation and many more can be accessed through TVS’ SmartXConnect system. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V can be yours for Rs 1.31 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
