Piaggio launched three new models today, all of which were first seen at Auto Expo 2020.

In Vespa’s line-up, the VXL and SXL get a facelift with a few style tweaks here and there. Both the variants can be had with either a 125cc or 150cc engine, which are, of course, all BS6-compliant. They still come with an advanced monocoque chassis wrapped in steel bodies. ABS or CBS is standard and so is a handy USB socket for charging mobiles.

On the Aprilia side of the showroom, the updated Storm 125cc gets a new digital cluster, blacked-out 12-inch alloys and new graphics. Mechanically, it gets a 220mm twin piston calliper front disk brake and the engine is now BS6-compliant as well.

The prices for the Vespas haven’t been revealed yet. While the Aprilia Storm 125 is priced at Rs 87,094, ex-showroom, Mumbai. You can head over to their respective websites (https://shop.vespaindia.com/ and https://shop.apriliaindia.com/ ) to book these scooters by paying Rs 1,000 as the booking amount. Online benefits worth Rs 2,000 are available if you act fast.
