There’s always been a question mark as to why manufacturers do not look upon the enduro or dual-sport genre of motorcycles for India. Given the conditions of our roads, it should pretty much be a no-brainer. One of the most accomplished bikes from the aforementioned style of bikes is Honda’s CRF range.

Honda has replaced the CRF250L and CRF250 Rally, which had been on sale in Europe since 2012, with the CRF300L and CRF300 Rally. These two new motorcycles come with a revised frame and steering geometry, longer travel suspension, lowered weight and higher ground clearance. The Rally even gets an increased fuel tank capacity and lowered seat height.

The 300L, on the other hand, now comes with a raised seat height, slightly pulled-back handlebar, slimmer fuel tank and LCD instrument display. Both motorcycles now come with a Euro5-compliant, 286cc engine which produces 26 bhp and 2.71 kgm of torque. Also, the 6th gear is now taller for improved high-speed cruising. There’s also an assist and slipper clutch for added comfort and safety.
