The Ducati Hypermotard 950s have arrived! Ducati India has skipped the Hypermotard 950’s base variant, but it has brought the 950 RVE and the 950 SP variants to our shores. Well, how can you tell them apart? The Hypermotard 950 RVE features a unique Graffiti livery, which takes its inspiration from the Hypermotard 950 Concept presented at the prestigious Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in 2019. Whereas, the Hypermotard 950 SP gets its colour’s inspiration from the Ducati MotoGP bikes. How cool is that? These cool Hypermotard 950s carry a price tag of Rs 12.99 lakh for the RVE and Rs 16.24 lakh (all prices ex-India) for the SP variant. We most certainly cannot wait to ride them!

The Hypermotard 950 features Ducati’s 937cc Testastretta 11-degree V-twin-cylinder engine which produces 112 bhp and 9.78 kgm of torque. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox. Since the Euro 5 emission norms update, the engine’s performance figures haven’t changed. There’s no doubt that the Hypermotard 950 is one funky-looking machine. Thanks to the exposed trellis frame, twin under-seat exhaust pipes, minimal bodywork, a wide handlebar and a flat saddle. More features like all LED lighting and a 4.3-inch TFT display complete the tech bit, whereas on the equipment list it includes three riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and Bosch six-axis IMU.

On the RVE variant, there’s a fully-adjustable 45-mm Marzocchi inverted front fork and an adjustable pre-load rebound damping Sachs mono-shock at the rear. On the other hand, the SP variant gets 48-mm Ohlins inverted fork up front and Ohlins mono-shock at the rear. Of course, both the forks are fully adjustable in nature. Also, it features Marchesini forged wheels, carbon-fibre timing belt cover and a carbon-fibre fender. Plus, the quick-shifter on the RVE comes as standard. You bet, we cannot wait to ride them already!
