Kawasaki makes a breakthrough into India’s hypernaked market by launching the Z H2. It will be available in two variants, a standard one and an SE variant. The Z H2’s styling is inspired by Kawasaki’s Z Sugomi design. It gets full-LED lighting, 4.3-inch colour instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, which can also be used to connect with Kawasaki’s smartphone application — Rideology The App.
Powering the Z H2 is a 998cc, in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve, supercharged engine that puts out 197 bhp and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Along with that, it gets a quick shifter, an assist and a slipper clutch, and handling benefits from its trellis frame chassis. On the standard variant, it features a Showa SF-BP spring setup at the front forks and a Showa for the rear mono-shock. The higher-end SE variant is equipped with KECS (Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension) along with Skyhook technology from Showa.
In addition to the above features, there are standard safety features as well. For instance, it gets traction control, ABS, three riding modes, three power modes, launch control and a cruise control system. Does that pique your interest?
