This is the model that is Euro5-compliant and comes with a 937cc, liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine with 108.6 bhp and 9.48 kgm of torque; it’s mated to a 6-speed transmission.

In terms of cosmetic upgrades, you get a more sculpted tank, twin exhaust tips, a step-up seat, new LED headlights and intakes, a re-styled fairing and windscreen and indicators integrated into the rear-view mirrors. Two variants are available internationally — the Standard and S. Features across the two variants include a 4.3-inch TFT screen, single-sided swingarm, 3-spoke wheels, Diablo Rosso 3 rubber, LED lights and the redesigned seat. The S version gets all this and fully adjustable Ohlins suspension and a pillion seat cover (the Standard gets Marzochhi front forks and a Sachs monoshock at the back). We expect the new Supersport 950 to start at around Rs 12.5 lakh, ex-showroom.
