Only a month back, Aprilia opened the bookings for the SXR 125. Finally, it has launched the maxi-scooter at Rs 1.15 lakh, ex-showroom, Pune. You can book one online by paying Rs 5,000 or visit the nearest Aprilia showroom when the lockdown lifts. Sure, you might be wondering about the SXR 125’s price being well over its nearest competitor, the Suzuki Burgman Street. But, here you get a scooter which is a mini version of its powerful elder sibling, the SXR 160 scooter. The best part is that in terms of design, it is quite similar to the SXR 160 if that’s what matters the most to you.

The SXR 125 comes with a 125cc BS6-compliant, single-cylinder engine with three valves and fuel injection technology, producing 9.4 bhp and 0.93 kgm of peak torque. The rear suspension on it is adjustable and stopping comes with the aid of a disc brake along with CBS. In addition to that, you do get a bunch of modern tech features. For instance, it gets a wrap-around LED headlight (similar to the RS 660 motorcycle) and an LED taillight, a fully digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and lovely Aprilia graphics. You can have the SXR 125 in one of these four colour schemes: Matte Black, Glossy White, Matte Blue, and Glossy Red.
