Methodology:
With 11 diverse award categories, the format spans policy leadership, technological breakthroughs, circular economy solutions, and public-private partnerships. The ceremony itself is designed as a grand event with broad pan-India recognition, giving winners extensive media visibility and serving as a catalyst for thought leadership by featuring them in a collectible Green Mobility Report.
Through live engagement, syndication across print, digital, broadcast, and sustained outreach, the awards create a lasting legacy for brands and individuals driving India's green transition and establish sectoral benchmarks recognized across the nation.
Process:
As part of the research process for the Motoring World Green Mobility Awards, our editorial and research teams initiated an extensive data-gathering exercise to ensure transparency, authenticity, and credibility in the evaluation framework. This included the submission of RTI requests to key government departments to obtain verified data on electric vehicle adoption, infrastructure development, and other sustainability-linked mobility indicators. The data received through these RTIs, along with insights from sources such as CEEW and TERI reports, has been meticulously analysed to assess the performance of states and union territories across various award categories
Based on this analysis, our internal jury has finalized the longlists of state nominations per category, which will then be presented to an external jury panel comprising distinguished sustainability experts and practitioners. The external jury will undertake the final evaluation and select the awardees for each category, ensuring a balanced, data-driven, and independent decision-making process.
